Pumpkin Cookies1 cup butter, room temperature
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons hot water (more if necessary)
Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in confectioners sugar and vanilla. Stir in hot water until smooth and consistency of thick syrup. Frost cookies. Makes about 4 dozen.
