Cranberry Walnut Crumb Cake

12-oz. bag of fresh cranberries

1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

1 large egg

1/2 cup white granulated sugar

1/2 cup white flour, sifted

1/3 cup butter, room temperature

Serve with sweetened whipped cream or ice cream

Place fresh cranberries in an 8-inch baking dish; sprinkle with brown sugar and walnuts.  

In a small bowl, use a fork to combine egg and white sugar.  Blend in flour and butter with fork until crumbly.  Spread on top of berries and bake in 325 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.  Serve warm topped with sweetened whipped cream or ice cream
