1/2 teaspoon minced garlic (out of a jar)
8 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
4 tablespoons Accent
12 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
1 cup oil
Mix above ingredients. Store in a glass quart jar. Use as a marinade for chicken, to add to salad recipe that follows (Can use with cooked Macaroni and cheese with broccoli and carrots: Cook box of macaroni, along with 2 cups broccoli and 2 cups carrots, sliced; add cheese mix and Brenda's Secret Salad Sauce to taste. Serve chilled. Or, marinade 1 pound of chicken strips in sauce, fry in pan along with roasted diced red peppers from a jar and some of sauce until no pink remains. Stir into cooked Penne macaroni. Many uses for this dressing. It's a secret sauce no longer.
