Teriyaki Marinade (for steak)

This recipe was given to me by Vickie Erlandson.

2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar

In small bowl, mix together brown sugar, ginger, and garlic powder (by mixing them together first, the ginger combines with the liquid better).  Add soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar and stir.  In ziploc plastic bag large enough to hold steak in single layer, combine steak and marinade mixture, coating steak well.  Zip securely and refrigerate for 6 to 24 hours.  Turn occasionally.  Broil or grill.  May be used with less expensive family steak or for kabobs.  Excellent with venison.
