This recipe was sent to me as part of a chain recipe letter. I mailed recipes on to others but never received any back.
2 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose white flour
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
12 oz. white chocolate morsels
1 cup (8 oz.) butter, room temperature
1 jar (6.5 oz.) Macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped (about 1 1/3 cups)
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the peanut butter, butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add flour, white sugar, baking powder, brown sugar, baking soda, vanilla, salt, and eggs. Mix well. Stir in white chocolate morsels and Macadamia nuts.
Place rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet, 1 1/2-inch apart, and bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 - 16 minutes. Let sit on cookie sheet for a minute and then remove to a wire rack to cool. This recipe makes 3 dozen cookies.
