Beanless Chili (Great for Diabetics)

Note:  For diabetics, serve this easy-to-make chili with a toasted cheese sandwich, made with 1 slice of  whole grain or sprouted grain bread.

2 pounds ground beef
2 medium onions, chopped
3 jalapeño peppers or bell peppers, chopped
3 tablespoons chili powder
10 3/4-oz. can tomato soup
2 cups fresh tomatoes or 16-oz. can, diced
salt and pepper to taste

In a large frying pan, sauté the meat, onions, and peppers.  Add chili powder, tomato soup, and tomatoes.  Salt and pepper to taste.  Serve hot.
